Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Housekeeper Supervisor in Cambridge for a part-time role. You will lead the housekeeping operation two days a week, with Wednesday and Thursday shifts, and enjoy weekly pay and on-site parking.

Join a welcoming hotel team and ensure high cleaning standards while managing daily tasks and coordinating with Front Office and Maintenance. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel supervisory experience within housekeeping.
• Availability to work every Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility to provide additional cover when required.
• Reliable, organised approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.
• Experience as a room attendant would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas to the highest standards
• Organising daily task schedules, leading morning briefings, and allocating work areas
• Monitoring stock levels of cleaning products, linen and guest amenities
• Liaising with Front Office on room status and Maintenance to report repair issues promptly
• Supporting the team to achieve a 20‑minute turnaround per bedroom where required
• Leading by example while supporting the wider team, including room attendant duties when needed
