We can’t wait to open our first UK hotel outside of London…and where better than the characterful capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. We are now looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and play a crucial part in successfully launching our brand in this new neighbourhood. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for supporting the management of our day-to-day housekeeping operations and providing excellent guest service.

The Hox in Edinburgh will feature 214 bedrooms influenced by Georgian heritage, a main restaurant, a large lobby & bar, a large event space, and The Apartment — our unique meetings and events concept.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure guest rooms are cleaned to brand standards, well-presented, and maintained.
  • Support hotel operations by providing a memorable, spotless guest experience.
  • Lead and motivate the housekeeping team, fostering a positive environment and supporting their growth.
  • Train and support staff in maintaining high standards.
  • Ensure health & safety policies are followed.
  • Oversee cleaning of bedrooms and public areas, assisting as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Head Housekeeper and external providers to maintain standards.

Requirements

  • A passion for hospitality and positive guest impact.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, support others, and maintain high standards.
  • Knowledge of property management systems (Opera Cloud, Knowcross) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ownership of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others.
