Sidney Sussex College, is seeking to appoint a Housekeeping Supervisor to work within the Housekeeping Department. Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping Services, this post will help to ensure the highest possible standard of cleaning is maintained throughout the College buildings and outlaying hostels.
This post would suit a pro-active, professional individual with supervisory experience and a strong work ethic. Experience of professional cleaning work in an educational or hotel establishment would be useful to the role but training will be provided. The ability to work unsupervised, and the capacity to travel daily to outlaying hostels would be welcomed.
This post is full-time at 37.5 hpw working 5 days in 7, including working weekends. The hourly rate is £13.51 which equates to £26,345 per annum.
Benefits include an annual leave entitlement of 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays; an excellent contributory pension scheme provided by the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), free College meals when on duty, College uniform and subsidised membership of the College’s gym facilities. The college is also closed over the Christmas period.
