Job summary

Daish’s Holidays is seeking enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistants to join our all-year-round team across our UK hotels. You’ll clean and prepare guest bedrooms, restock supplies, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness to ensure guests have a welcoming stay.

What will you be doing?

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll play a key role in making sure our guests arrive to clean, fresh and welcoming accommodation. Your attention to detail will help us maintain the high standards that make a Daish’s holiday special.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining a set number of guest bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.
• Dusting, vacuuming and carrying out general cleaning duties.
• Changing towels and replenishing tea, coffee and other room supplies.
• Carrying out deep-cleaning duties when required.
• Checking rooms and reporting any maintenance issues through our internal procedures.
• Following company Health & Safety procedures and helping to maintain a safe working environment.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive housekeeping team.

You don't necessarily need previous housekeeping or hotel experience – we'll support you in learning the role.

The role includes weekends and bank holidays. Our departure days are generally every five days, giving you a generous timescale to complete your room turnaround compared with many other hotel groups.
