Job summary

The Bloomsbury Hotel in central London is hiring a part-time Housekeeping Runner to support the Room Attendants and Public Areas teams, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, stock flow and smooth guest experiences. This 20-hour-per-week role offers £13.75 per hour plus a generous service charge, a uniform, meals on duty, and staff discounts across The Doyle Collection hotels.

• Eligible to live and work in the UK under immigration requirements.
• Hospitality experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen, towels and guest amenities to floors promptly and discreetly.
• Collect and transport soiled linen to designated laundry areas following procedures.
• Maintain immaculately organised housekeeping cupboards.
• Assist with bed making, extra beds, cots delivery/removal and efficient room turnover.
• Assist with soiled linen and rubbish removal in a hygienic and unobtrusive manner.
• Support Public Areas with maintaining exceptional cleanliness across guest areas.
• Ensure back-of-house corridors and linen rooms meet luxury hotel standards.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or stock shortages immediately.

Salary: £13.75 per hour + generous service charge

As Housekeeping Runner, you will provide essential operational support to ensure the exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and service excellence expected at the Bloomsbury Hotel. This role enables Room Attendants and Public Areas teams to deliver seamless guest experiences through efficient stock flow, immaculate back of house presentation, and support across guest facing areas.

Please note this position is on a part time basis (20 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen, towels, and guest amenities to floors promptly and discreetly
• Collect and transport soiled linen to designated laundry areas in accordance with procedures
• Maintain immaculately organised housekeeping cupboards
• Support Room Attendants with bed making, extra beds & baby cots delivery and removal and efficient room turnover, including safe manual handling
• Assist with soiled linen and rubbish removal in a hygienic and unobtrusive manner
• Support Public Areas teams in maintaining exceptional cleanliness across all guest service areas
• Ensure back of house corridors, service spaces, linen rooms and working areas meet luxury hotel standards
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or stock shortages immediately
