Job summary

St James' Park Care Home, part of Care Concern Group in Bradpole, Dorset, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, and support laundry tasks with proper labelling and care.

The role follows infection control and safety procedures, contributing to high-quality, person-centred care. Prior experience is welcome but not essential, with benefits including DBS, pension, uniform and generous

Qualifications

• Positive, reliable attitude and good organisation
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organised
• Team player with good communication skills
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing
• Follow infection control and health & safety procedures to work safely and efficiently
• Maintain a well organised, welcoming environment for residents
