Job summary

Chaseview Nursing Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe environment and support laundry services. You will clean rooms and communal areas, follow infection control procedures and assist with laundry, with care for residents’ dignity and daily wellbeing.

The role offers a 32-hour week contract, competitive hourly pay (£12.95–£13.45), paid PVG/DBS, pension, uniform and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry duties: washing, drying, ironing and returning clothes, with proper labelling.
