Job summary

Larchwood Care Home in Braintree, Essex is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and to support laundry services. You will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.

You will follow infection control, health and safety procedures, support laundry duties, and help ensure residents' comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing through attention to detail and teamwork. Paid DBS and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and labelling.
• Follow infection control, health and safety procedures to ensure tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
