Job Description:

We are seeking a kind, caring, and organized Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant to join our team at Ruddington Manor Care Centre. This full-time, permanent role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the care home, supporting residents and staff, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home.
  • Assist with laundry duties as required.
  • Support residents and staff with housekeeping tasks.
  • Follow health and safety and infection control procedures.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of tasks performed.
  • Promote safeguarding and the welfare of residents.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, or hospitality is desirable.
  • Experience working in a care setting is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and residents.
  • Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail.
