Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Laundry Assistant for a care home where cleanliness and comfort are essential for resident wellbeing. You will wash, dry, iron and repair clothes and linens, ensuring a tidy environment and contributing to a welcoming home for residents.

You will work collaboratively with the care team, manage multiple requests, and help maintain stock levels while upholding high hygiene standards across shifts. Flexible working and supportive benefits are included.

You'll help us make health happen by:

• Always maintaining high standards of laundry within our home.
• Keeping our resident's looking and feeling great; you will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing and repairing items of clothing as needed.
• Maintaining linen stocks for day to day use around the home, you'll raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper as you go.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you'll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
