Job summary

Bupa is looking for a Laundry Assistant to support our care home team. You will wash, dry, iron and repair clothing, while maintaining linen stocks and a clean, comfortable environment for residents.

The role emphasizes high standards, teamwork and flexible shifts. DBS check and uniform are provided, and staff benefit from meals on shift and access to UK gym discounts.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

Always maintaining high standards of laundry within our home.

Keeping our resident's looking and feeling great; you will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing and repairing items of clothing as needed.

Maintaining linen stocks for day to day use around the home, you'll raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper as you go.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you'll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
