Job summary

Riverstone Kensington is seeking a Night Housekeeping Host to maintain immaculate communal areas and deliver exceptional, high-end service for residents aged 65+. The role covers 8:00–20:00 shifts on a 12-hour pattern, 7 days in a 14-day cycle, equating to about 3.5 days per week.

Starting salary up to £31,749 per year, with a performance-related bonus and access to benefits such as enhanced pension, life assurance, a free meal on duty, and staff dining discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in premium hospitality or related service sector.
• Ability to deliver high-end service with meticulous standards.

Responsibilities

Let’s start with what is a Riverstone Residence? Think of a blend of outstanding apartments, with the services of a private members club and a luxury hotel. Riverstone offers a community for over 65’s that assists with maintaining an active, independent and rewarding lifestyle whilst offering the reassurance of service, security and well-being support.

The housekeeping team keep our Residence looking immaculate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The housekeeping team operates cover the hours between 8:00 - 20:00 working a 12 hour shift pattern (11.5 working hours) working 7 days in every 14-day rota cycle. This role equates to a 3.5-day week working an average of 40.25 hours. This working pattern may evolve as we continue to grow and learn from our colleagues, what best supports their needs and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities of the Night Housekeeping Host role

The housekeeping team maintains and cleans all communal areas including restaurant, corridors, lobbies, stairways, lifts and lounges as well as the spa area, information suite and show apartments. The team are also there to provide in apartment housekeeping services on a chargeable basis for any residents who want us to provide these.

Delivering this will involve:

• Organising your daily work daily schedule in line with the set task list and resident service requests
• Distributing linen, towels and washroom supplies and replenish
• Laundry of all communal linen and towels
• Responding to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
• Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards

This is for you if you are:

• Naturally curious with a passion for delivering excellent experiences and is customer obsessed
• Highly experienced in the delivery of hospitality and premium services successfully
• Have an affinity with Riverstone’s target resident and is customer obsessed, and values driven
• Have exceptional attention to detail
• A great communicator and have good interpersonal skills.
