Job summary

Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels, is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to uphold our luxury standards by ensuring guest rooms and public areas are spotless and welcoming.

This role is 32 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota including weekends, with a starting rate of £13 per hour plus a service charge and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends on a rota.
• Good attention to detail and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will create an exceptional first impression by ensuring guest rooms and public spaces are immaculately presented and cleaned to the highest standards.
• You will replenish premium towels and toiletries and arrange in-room refreshments including tea/coffee and biscuits.
• You will self-inspect rooms and support colleagues to uphold our luxury and comfort standards; rota-based weekend work.

What will the role involve?

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will help create an exceptional first impression by ensuring guest rooms and public spaces are immaculately presented and cleaned to the highest standards. With meticulous attention to detail, you’ll replenish premium towels and toiletries, and elegantly arrange in-room refreshments, including a curated selection of teas, coffees, and biscuits.

Your commitment to excellence will contribute to an unforgettable, magical experience. A true team player, you’ll confidently self-inspect rooms and support colleagues to uphold our reputation for luxury and comfort.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 32 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.
