Cornerstone Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant at South Africa Lodge to maintain cleanliness and contribute to a welcoming living environment for residents. The role supports six specialised units within a 99-bed home, focusing on dignity and safety.

You’ll work a structured rota, with 35 hours per week across 10-hour shifts, and you’ll join a team committed to respect, care, and kindness in a high-quality care setting.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months Housekeeping experience within a care setting.
• A passion for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• A friendly and proactive approach with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, their families, and your colleagues.
• Confident communication skills – both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• As a valued member of our housekeeping team, you’ll play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our residents.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Cleaning and caring for all communal areas and residents’ rooms – including vacuuming, polishing, and mopping.
• Receive training on health and safety protocols, including the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ensuring all housekeeping supplies are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• While you won’t be delivering hands‑on care, your warm presence and attention to detail will help ensure our residents feel respected, comfortable, and uplifted throughout your time with them

South Africa Lodge is a 99-bed home providing exceptional care across six specialised units. We support residents living with complex needs, including neuro-degenerative conditions, dementia, and mental health challenges. What You’ll Bring

Your Working Pattern

We offer a stable, structured rota to support your work-life balance:

• Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday – 08:00 to 18:00
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday – 08:00 to 18:00

10-hour shifts, averaging 35 hours per week
