Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join Acorn Lodge Care Home in Nuneaton. You will work with the team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards and support residents with dignity and respect.

Knowledge of Health & Safety, moving and handling, Fire Safety and COSHH is preferred. Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting and a compassionate, flexible approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
• The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring areas are well presented and maintained.
• Ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are respected.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained. Other responsibilitieswill include:

• Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
• Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
