Qualifications

• Health and Safety knowledge including moving and handling techniques, fire safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrates compassion and commitment to high-quality housekeeping/laundry for residents.
• Ability to be flexible to cover a range of duties at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all cleaning duties per worksheet instructions.
• Understand cleaning requirements of different surfaces and ensure areas are well presented.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect; protect personal space and belongings.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
• Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
