About The Role
Please note that this is a part-time role working 21 hours per week, 8am - 3.30pm. Full flexibility is required.
As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will contribute to our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes, understanding that our residents are people with their own stories. Your role will involve maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and attention to detail.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although full training will be provided. Excellent time management, organizational skills, positive energy, and the ability to get along with people are essential. You should be a good communicator, skilled at listening and giving instructions, and always considerate and kind in your interactions.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
