Job summary

Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Wetherby. You will help create an exceptional first impression by ensuring guest rooms and public spaces are impeccably presented and cleaned to the highest standards, with meticulous attention to detail.

This part-time role (32 hours per week) includes weekends on a rota, flexible hours where possible, and a starting rate of £13.00 per hour plus a service charge and benefits such as 28 days holiday,

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• Able to work alone and in a team.
• Attention to detail and pride in presentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms and public spaces are immaculately presented and cleaned to high standards.
• Replenish towels and toiletries and arrange in-room refreshments.
• Self-inspect rooms and support colleagues to uphold luxury standards.

What will the role involve?

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will help create an exceptional first impression by ensuring guest rooms and public spaces are immaculately presented and cleaned to the highest standards. With meticulous attention to detail, you’ll replenish premium towels and toiletries, and elegantly arrange in-room refreshments, including a curated selection of teas, coffees, and biscuits. Your commitment to excellence will contribute to an unforgettable, magical experience. A true team player, you’ll confidently self-inspect rooms and support colleagues to uphold our reputation for luxury and comfort.

This is a part-time role working 4 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 32 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.
