Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to help keep our care homes clean, safe and welcoming for Residents across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist settings. You’ll work with kindness, respect and attention to detail, supporting infection control and daily tasks with a positive attitude.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; you’ll be organized, manage your time well and engage with Residents, visitors and colleagues in a caring, respectful way.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning tasks and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.
• Caring, patient approach when interacting with Residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
• Follow cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead.
• Use cleaning products safely and maintain hygiene procedures.
• Support infection control and safety standards in the home.
• Assist with laundry and linen care and report repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home. Your work will make a real difference every day. Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
• Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
• Supporting infection control and safety standards
• Helping with laundry and linen care
• Reporting any issues or repairs as needed

You’ll take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you’re ticking off tasks or jumping in to lend a hand, you’ll do it with care and compassion.

Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you’ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation with Residents, visitors, and your team.
