HC-One Ltd. is seeking a weekend Housekeeping Assistant to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home for Residents in our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care settings.

You’ll work 13 hours per week across weekends, with full training provided. The role focuses on bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, following schedules, using products safely, supporting infection control, laundry, and reporting issues promptly. A positive, detail‑oriented mindset is essential.

Qualificações

• Safeguarding training is required and advice/reporting procedures must be followed.

About the role

This role is for weekends only 13h/week. You'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home. Your work will make a real difference every day. Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
• Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
• Supporting infection control and safety standards
• Helping with laundry and linen care
• Reporting any issues or repairs as needed

You’ll take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you’re ticking off tasks or jumping in to lend a hand, you’ll do it with care and compassion.

Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you’ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation - with Residents, visitors, and your team.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
