Housekeeper - Southampton

Hourly Rate: £12.50

Working Hours: 2 shifts per week, Monday - Sunday, between 10am – 2pm

Vita Student's offers next-level apartment designs with a variety of studios to suit our students' lifestyles, providing privacy or shared living. We combine style, luxury, and comfort with premium amenities and vibrant city life. We are expanding our housekeeping team with an experienced Housekeeper to deliver a luxury, home-from-home cleaning service for our residents’ studio apartments and maintain our premium site & facilities to the highest standards.

Our Housekeepers

Provide exceptional, personalised room cleaning services to students, ensuring studios are maintained to a clean, healthy, and presentable standard. Duties include, but are not limited to: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, antibacterial cleaning of surfaces, and making beds, following scheduled routines.

• Respectfully care for facilities used by students & guests.
• Maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities.
• Address issues or challenges proactively.
• Serve as a point of contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
• Manage waste areas according to health & safety regulations, addressing hazards appropriately.
• Record and manage each studio clean using a smartphone/tablet, photographing before and after cleaning.
• Report any concerning behaviour of students indicating welfare issues.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate needs to management, assisting with stock ordering.
• Follow COSHH regulations to ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

• Experience in large, multi-room residence facilities, hotels, or hospitals.
• Comfortable using technology systems and software.
• Good understanding of COSHH regulations.
