In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities as a Housekeeping Assistant will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, demonstrating your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with some experience, though we will provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to connect with people. Effective communication, including listening and instructing, is essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
