About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities as a Housekeeping Assistant will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment, reflecting your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, ability to communicate effectively, and considerate nature are key qualities. You should be comfortable listening and giving instructions, and always communicate with kindness and respect.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should feel confident in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
