Windyhall Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is a luxurious Victorian residence in Ayr offering comfort and personalised support. We seek a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with laundry, contributing to residents’ daily wellbeing.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly with items clearly labelled.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures and work with the wider team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Housekeeping Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 22 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
