Job summary

Champneys Eastwell Manor is seeking a Part Time Housekeeping Assistant to help deliver luxury guestroom cleanliness and comfort. The role covers servicing bedrooms and bathrooms to exacting Champneys standards, with rooms prepared to feel calm and inviting and maintaining discreet guest areas.

The position requires weekend work and 16 hours per week, with a pay rate of up to £12.71 per hour plus service charge.

Your Role Will Include

• Servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to exceptional Champneys standards, ensuring cleanliness, presentation and comfort
• Preparing rooms so they feel calm, inviting and ready for guests to relax from the moment they arrive
• Maintaining tidy corridors and working areas, ensuring guest privacy and discretion at all times
• Keeping housekeeping trolleys and stock rooms well organised and fully stocked
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage or stock shortages promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Working respectfully and quietly within guest accommodation, recognising that guests are here to rest and unwind
• Responding politely and professionally to guest requests in line with company procedures
• Supporting wider housekeeping and laundry duties when required
• Attending team meetings and training, with a willingness to continually improve standards and skills
• Health, safety and professionalism:
• Following all health, safety and fire procedures at all times
• Using cleaning products and equipment responsibly and in line with COSHH guidance
• Maintaining high standards of personal presentation, punctuality and conduct
• Working with discretion and confidentiality in all guest areas
