In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be key in creating a comfortable space for residents. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.

HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with some experience, although full training will be provided. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential. We value positive energy, a natural ability to get along with people, and strong communication skills—both listening and giving instructions. You should be considerate and kind in all interactions. This is a part-time role, 10 hours per week over 5 days, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 6 pm.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to seek advice and report concerns as needed.
