Beds & Bars Group is seeking a Team Member Housekeeping in Edinburgh to ensure guests experience a clean, welcoming environment. You will clean guest rooms, common areas, and bathrooms, make beds, dust, vacuum, and restock supplies.

The role is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet for long periods, with flexibility to accommodate varying guest check-ins and check-outs. Training covers health and safety and housekeeping standards, plus career development opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Room cleaning: clean and sanitize guest rooms, change linens, dust, vacuum, and clean bathrooms.
• Common area maintenance: tidy lobbies, hallways, kitchens, and lounges.
• Supply management: restock amenities, towels, and toiletries.
• Laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and towels.
• Waste disposal: empty and manage waste properly.
• Report maintenance issues in rooms or common areas for repairs.
• Provide friendly, professional service and respond to guest requests.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Time management: complete tasks within scheduled hours with high cleanliness.
• Team collaboration: work closely with housekeeping and other departments.

As a Team Member Housekeeping, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, common areas, and bathrooms to high standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. The role is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet for long periods, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks. You'll work in a supportive and collaborative team within a fast-paced and lively environment, where communication and teamwork are essential. Flexibility is important as the workload may vary based on guest check-ins and check-outs, but you'll always contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for international guests. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality while being part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Common Area Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain common areas like lobbies, hallways, kitchens, and lounges to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment.
• Supply Management: Restock guest amenities, towels, and toiletries as needed and ensure all supplies are well-organized.
• Laundry Duties: Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing clean linens and towels.
• Waste Disposal: Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly throughout the facility.
• Report Maintenance Issues: Identify and report maintenance issues or damages in rooms or common areas for prompt repairs.
• Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service, responding to guest requests or concerns in a timely manner.
• Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety and health protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for both staff and guests.
• Time Management: Efficiently complete all tasks within scheduled hours while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
