Job summary

Honeycomb Houses is recruiting a Housekeeper to join our friendly team at The Lion in Wendlebury, near Bicester. You will maintain spotless guest rooms and public areas, ensuring our high Honeycomb standards and safety rules are followed.

We are on the hunt for a Housekeeper to join our friendly family. Our beautiful rooms offer a safe, clean and slumbersome stay to our guests and we’re looking for someone who will take pride in being a part of that process and service.

We need a housekeeper that will help us uphold our reputation for providing a clean and calm environment for our visitors. We are a fun loving family, full of fantastic personalities with approachable and kind demeanours. If you think you could sweep us off our feet then we look forward to welcoming you aboard.

What we are looking for:

• Have a keen eye for detail and be highly organised.
• Be able to work independently and in a team.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines keeping our rooms spotless and to our high Honeycomb standards.
• Control linen and work safely with required chemicals.
• Engage with our guests and ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.
• Be able to get along fantastically with fellow members of our workplace family

About Us

Honeycomb Houses is a family-run institution born-and-bred from our parent company, Brakspear, which came to life all the way back in 1779. Our philosophy is simple, we treat colleagues like family, guests as friends and pubs like homes. We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our friendly and talented team at The Lion.

We pay up to £12.71 an hour, plus tronc which is on average an extra £1.50 an hour. Tips are then additional to tronc.

The Lion located in the charming village of Wendlebury just outside Bicester, The Lion is a stylish and welcoming country pub and inn. It's a popular destination for both locals and visitors, offering a relaxed yet refined atmosphere that combines rustic charm with contemporary design. The Lion serves classic British pub fare with a modern twist.
