Job summary

The Salutation Hotel in Ambleside, part of Classic Lodges Limited, is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms to high cleanliness standards. You will work as part of a friendly team to ensure a welcoming environment for guests throughout their stay.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Physical stamina is required as the role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure all rooms are fully equipped for guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising rooms in accordance with hotel policies.

This is a full time permanent live out position. Accommodation may be available with a deduction for living in.
