Overview

A private household in Purley is seeking an experienced, reliable and conscientious Housekeeper to help with the smooth running of a large, detached family home.

The household is looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised home and is equally happy to assist with occasional light household administration and errands.

The property is a spacious, detached three to four-bedroom home situated on a private road, with several reception rooms, a kitchen and dining area, utility room, office and bathrooms.

The position is for 14 hours per week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. However, there is considerable flexibility regarding the working days for the right candidate, although the start and finish times are less flexible. Ideally, the successful candidate would also be happy to undertake one day of office cleaning in nearby Croydon every fortnight.

The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly, trustworthy and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage their responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping and Household Management
