Job summary

Skycare is seeking a proactive housekeeper/cleaner to join a private nursing home in the Birmingham area. You will perform general cleaning tasks, sanitize rooms, handle laundry, and maintain a tidy living environment for residents.

Applicants should have previous cleaning experience or a strong willingness to learn, be able to work independently, and demonstrate good organisational skills. Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not provided. Flexible hours are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, ironing, laundry.
• Clean and sanitize the house and facilities in the nursing home.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Follow cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Pay rate :

£12.71 per hour

30-60 hours during the week are available

We are looking for a proactive, motivated and reliable individual to join work in private house as housekeeper/cleaner. Candidates should be able to work independently, possess good organisational skills

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, ironing , laundry.etc
• Clean and sanitize the house

• Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods of time

The following is required for this role:

• Previous cleaning experience would be a distinct advantage
