Job summary

Oakland Care Hastings is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe and comfortable environments for residents. You will work 25 hours per week on day shifts in our Hastings home, delivering high standards of cleanliness and infection control with pride and compassion.

No previous care home experience is essential, but a warm, respectful attitude and ability to work as part of a team are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or care settings preferred
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Warm, respectful approach to residents and their personal spaces

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas
• Carry out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules
• Ensure laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly
• Support infection control procedures and basics of hygiene
• Work as part of a friendly team focused on residents' wellbeing

Hours: 25 hours per week

Pay: £13.20 Per hour
