Role: Housekeeper

Location: Cheltenham Hospital | Facilities | Bank | Part time

Pay: £12.33 per hour

Details: Working on the bank means no fixed hours; work on an ad-hoc basis to meet the needs of the hospital and your availability. Keeping our hospitals clean is a priority. You will help create a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing areas using the latest equipment and supported by a comprehensive training program. Responsibilities include room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection, and deep cleaning.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

1. Care about our patients, organizing your work and planning your time with guidance from our Heads of Housekeeping to ensure cleaning does not interfere with patient care.
2. Have friendly communication and customer service skills to work effectively with colleagues and interact positively with patients.
3. Be motivated, friendly, flexible, and ideally experienced in a similar role, ensuring cleaning processes are followed and areas are maintained to high standards.
4. Work closely with the Infection Prevention team, reporting incidents to relevant team members.
