Job summary

Circle Health Group Limited is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to join the Circle Birmingham team on an as and when required basis. You will clean patient, public and staff areas, help maintain a safe and pleasant environment, and support linen and consumables replenishment across hospital departments including Theatre areas.

This bank role provides flexible shifts to cover busy periods and staff leave, with duties that require good literacy, numeracy and communication skills, plus basic PC

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent.
• Proficiency in using a PC and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments including Theatre areas.
• Complete daily task sheets for auditing purposes.
• Comply with mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Servicesdepartment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
