Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Housekeeper for London Heathrow Terminal 5. This role features a zero-hour contract with a pay rate of £16.06 per hour and includes benefits such as free meals on shift, training opportunities, pension and life insurance, and perks via Perkbox.

The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness of surfaces and facilities, work as part of a collaborative team, and adhere to health, safety and COSHH regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or busy setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• To clean surfaces, furnishings and fittings with the specified equipment and cleaners.
• Maintain supplies of cleaning materials and store safely.
• Provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to customers.
• Set up tables, chairs and lounge furniture appropriately.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, surfaces, and service areas regularly.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and teamwork.
• Follow COSHH regulations and use protective equipment.
