Job summary

DFS Furniture PLC is seeking aHousekeeper for a 30-hour week in Birmingham. You will keep the showroom immaculate, clean floors and toilets, maintain the coffee machine, and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked. The role supports a friendly team environment with retail customers.

The position is part-time, Monday to Friday 8am–12pm, with occasional weekend work. DFS offers competitive pay, discounts and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or showroom cleaning
• Ability to work in a busy retail environment
• Comfortable standing and light lifting throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Clean showroom to a high standard (dusting, vacuuming, mopping)
• Mop floors and display floor signs when needed
• Clean toilet areas and maintain hygiene
• Maintain the coffee machine and related equipment
• Monitor cleaning supplies and reorder as required
