Job summary

DFS is seeking a meticulous Housekeeper for our Birmingham showroom. You will maintain a pristine showroom with cleaning, dusting and vacuuming, while keeping the coffee machine running and stock levels updated.

The role involves working a Monday–Friday 8am–12pm shift, with occasional weekends and bank holidays, in a friendly team that values customer interaction. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, enjoy interacting with colleagues and customers, and take pride in presenting a

Responsibilities

• Ensure showroom is presentable by cleaning, dusting and vacuuming.
• Mop floors and display floor signs where appropriate.
• Clean toilet areas and maintain hygiene standards.
• Maintain the coffee machine and ensure it is stocked.
• Keep cleaning supplies inventory up to date.
• Follow a work rota and complete duties in order.
• Represent DFS values in all activities.

About the Role:

The Housekeeper is a key role at the heart of the business, taking pride in maintaining the beautiful showroom to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include general cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and toilet areas), maintaining the coffee machine, managing cleaning supplies, and representing DFS values.

The shift pattern is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm, with occasional weekend and bank holiday work. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and lots of enthusiasm who enjoys interacting with colleagues and potential customers as part of a fun and friendly team.
