Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting a part-time Housekeeper to join our team, delivering outstanding cleaning services across our facilities. The role is contracted to 22.5 hours per week for 40 weeks per year.

Shift patterns are 5 days out of 7, with responsibilities including cleaning, sanitising and maintaining safe, presentable environments for staff and visitors. Compass Group UK&I supports career development and competitive pay within the industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a wide range of areas within the building.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Carry out additional cleaning duties as required, such as spill clean-ups.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and keep areas presentable and safe for visitors.

We're currently recruiting a part time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Chartwells, contracted to 22.5 hours per week.

As one of our committed Housekeepers, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our staff and visitors.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days

Please note: This role is contracted to 40 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
• Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment

Our ideal Housekeeper will:

• Have cleaning experience in a similar role
• Be passionate about customer service
