Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Moorhill Care Home in Southampton. You will keep the home clean and safe while following hygiene standards, contributing to a caring atmosphere and supporting residents with a tidy living space.

Role includes dusting, bathroom cleaning, and completing cleaning logs with attention to detail. Full-time and part-time hours are available, with benefits and opportunities for progression within the Hartford Care family.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment at all times across the care home.
• Dusting, cleaning and tidying residents' rooms and bathrooms; ensure logs are completed.
• Support infection control measures and COSHH procedures where applicable.
• Collaborate with care home staff to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Location:Moorhill Care Home - Southampton, Hampshire (SO30 3AZ)

The Role

As a Housekeeper, you will ensure the home is kept clean and safe at all times while meeting hygiene and cleanliness standards, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are dusting a resident’s room and reminiscing with them about their previous job, cleaning a bathroom, caring for houseplants or completing the cleaning logs, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
