Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Cambridge is seeking a part-time Ward Hostess/Host to deliver cleaning services across healthcare facilities, contracted to 15 hours per week with afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining areas, dusting, mopping and sanitising surfaces, and ensuring a safe, presentable environment for staff and visitors while following health and safety guidelines. A flexible approach to working is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Customer-service oriented and proactive.
• Able to work in a team and alone.
• Flexible with shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a wide range of areas within the building.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum to a high standard.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors and touchpoints regularly.
• Handle spillages promptly and dispose of bin waste.
• Ensure areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when using equipment.

We're currently recruiting a part time Ward Hostess/Host to join our dedicated team to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Healthcare, contracted to 15 hours per week.

As one of our committed Ward Hostess/Hosts, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our staff and visitors.

Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Afternoons
• Tues: Afternoons
• Weds: Afternoons
• Thurs: Afternoons
• Fri: Afternoons

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
• Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment
