Altogether care's Sherborne Home in the South West is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for residents. You will clean rooms, maintain sanitary areas, and dispose of waste in line with guidelines. No prior care home experience is required, and an enhanced DBS is requested.

The role is 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with a permanent contract. The pay aligns with the national minimum wage for over 21s, and the team offers induction, ongoing

As a Housekeeper, you will be a vital part of our growing family, ensuring our residents live in a safe and hygienic environment. We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who shares our commitment to high standards and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned rooms, including furniture, fittings, fabrics, carpets, and equipment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and tidiness.
• Maintain cleanliness of sanitary areas and other equipment, following strict guidelines to prevent the spread of germs and infestations.
• Dispose of all waste safely and in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• While previous experience in a care home is not required, you should take pride in your work, knowing that your efforts contribute to a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for residents and visitors.

All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS.

The pay for this role meets the national minimum wage for over 21s.
