Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a confident Housekeeper to support adults with learning disabilities at The Fields in Sheffield. You will provide a safe, clean environment and perform daily housekeeping tasks around a specialist residential service.

The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with an hourly rate of £13.15. You will follow COSHH guidelines, work with a supportive team, and have opportunities for career progression within a respected UK care provider.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable).
• Knowledge of COSHH (desirable).
• Friendly, conscientious & have a positive attitude.
• A good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service.
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
• Replenish stock & ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained.
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures.
• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

You'll be working Part time (24 hrs per week) at The Fields, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

The Fields is a specialist residential service in Sheffield, South Yorkshire for adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge as well as associated complex needs.

We encourage and enable the individuals we support to lead a full and happy life. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control in their lives. We find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that the care provided can be as person-centred and meaningful to each individual as possible.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service
