Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited is seeking a Housekeeper at our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate. You will maintain spotless rooms and communal spaces, ensuring hygiene and presentation for residents.

In addition to housekeeping, you will assist with laundry and help identify safety risks, collaborating with the team to keep residents safe. The internally used title is Hospitality Assistant.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 1 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas.
• Launder and manage linen to ensure hygiene and comfort.
• Identify and report potential fire or accident risks with housekeeping/maintenance teams.
• Support across departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle on shift.

What you will do

As our Housekeeper, you’ll be the sort of person who doesn’t go out without leaving a tidy bed. You’ll apply your high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness to our resident’s homes and communal living spaces, to ensure they’re spotlessly clean and beautifully presented.

You’ll also be working in laundry ensuring that the linen is kept clean for residents’ comfort and hygiene. You’ll also have your eye out for potential fire and accident risks, working with the housekeeping and maintenance team to reduce any risks to resident’s safety.

Our residents will notice and appreciate attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness builds confidence in our service delivery.

Internally, this role is called Hospitality Assistant, if you are successful this will be your job title. You will be required to work across a range of departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle. Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.

• Various shift times between 07.00 and 18.00.
