Job summary

Ashlynn Grange Care Home in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to uphold the highest cleaning standards, creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

You will follow the cleaning schedule, maintain hygiene, and adhere to infection control policies while engaging with residents in meaningful activities and conversations, showing genuine care and attention to detail in daily service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning duties align with the cleaning schedule and maintain high personal presentation and hygiene.

Job description

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered in the home to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.,

• Ensure that cleaning duties are carried out in accordance to the cleaning schedule, ensuring the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene are maintained.
• Ensure all health and safety requirements are being met and that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
• To actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
  Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• A passion for care - we're looking for a genuinely caring individual who will put the needs of our residents first.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
