Job summary

Athena Care Homes is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ashlynn Grange Care Home in Peterborough. You will deliver high-quality clinical care, lead a nursing team and ensure care plans reflect residents’ needs. The role supports dementia and relationship-centered care within a cared-for community.

Salary is £22.71 per hour with up to 45 hours per week on a 12-hour shift rota, including weekend coverage. Full induction, DBS/NMC renewals paid, and holiday entitlement are included.

Qualifications

• Qualified and NMC registered RN, RMN or RNLD with 1 year post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Clinical Care Manager with the care delivery in the home, to ensure continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident’s care.
• Assist with ensuring care plans are regularly audited and that they are appropriate to the residents needs and reflect the care being delivered.
• Actively engage with residents in meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
• Lead the clinical team to ensure they are aligned with the Athena vision and are operating from the Athena Charter.

Job description

As a Registered Nurse at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of clinical care is provided to our residents.

About Ashlynn Grange Care Home:

Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables.

The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is exceptional, and all staff love to keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café is available to our residents and their visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily.

About the role:

Reporting to the Clinical Care Manager, the Registered Nurse will provide strong clinical knowledge and leadership to ensure the highest standards are achieved in the delivery of care within the home including relationship centered care, clinical care and dementia care.

Salary:

£22.71 per hour.

Shift Pattern:

Up to 45 hours per week, 12-hour shifts worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location:

Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.
