• Location: Lymington, Hampshire, United Kingdom
• Job type: Part Time Permanent
• Salary: £12.22 per hour
• Contracted Hours: 10 hours per week (5PM-7PM)

Tops Lymington Nursery is a 100-place day nursery & pre‑school situated in All Saints Church, Lymington. The nursery runs several extra‑curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and much more!

What does the role involve?

• Ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean, tidy, and well presented
• Cleaning toilets, nappy‑changing areas, and staff areas regularly
• Managing laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
• Maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies
• Supporting staff in keeping rooms tidy and safe for children
• Adhering to health and safety and infection control standards at all times

What are we looking for?

• Takes pride in their work and has an eye for detail
• Is reliable, organised, and proactive
• Understands the importance of cleanliness in a childcare setting
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Has previous cleaning or housekeeping experience

Important Safeguarding Information

Because this role involves regulated activity with children, all candidates must:

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. If you don’t yet have one, you’ll need to cover the cost.
• Be eligible to work in regulated roles—not on the Children’s Barred List.
• Successfully complete background and reference checks.
