Job summary

La Mon Hotel & Country Club in Northern Ireland is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness and safety standards across all hotel areas. The role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and focuses on preparing and cleaning guest bedrooms to a pristine standard.

Requirements include valid right to work in the UK, good English, and at least 1 year in a similar role. A valid transport option is necessary due to location; training will be provided to uphold health and safety

Qualifications

Right to Work in the United Kingdom is required.
Good command of English is required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar housekeeping role.
Transport is needed due to location.

Responsibilities

To ensure the cleanliness of all areas in the hotel.
Prepare rooms for arrival of guests and ensure readiness.
To change and make all beds to a high standard.
To ensure bathrooms are clean and toiletries replaced.
To carry out laundry tasks as requested.
To follow health and safety policies and attend training as required.
To communicate maintenance or guest requests to the head housekeeper.
To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.

We are looking for a Housekeeper to maintain a high standard of health & safety, cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hotel.

About the role

Job Title: Housekeeper

Responsible to: Housekeeping Manager

Main Purpose: To prepare and clean guest bedrooms to a high standard

Main tasks and duties

To ensure the cleanliness of all areas in the hotel;
Prepare rooms for arrival of guests;
To change and make all beds to a high standard;
To ensure all bathrooms are clean, soap, towels etc. replaced;
To carry out laundry tasks as requested;
To take due care and attention when undertaking any task or procedure;
To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance;
To follow all health and safety policies and procedures as devised by management;
To attend training courses as and when necessary;
To ensure effective communication to management and peers;
To advise the head housekeeper or document in their absence any relevant maintenance or resident requests,
To ensure that due care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, residents, members and any other persons on the premises;
Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.

Transport essential as we are not on direct bus route
