Job summary

Butcombe Group is seeking a friendly and reliability-driven Housekeeper to join our team at Butcombe Boutique Inns. You will maintain exceptionally high cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public areas, perform daily cleaning tasks, change beds and linen, and ensure rooms are ready for guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas
• Carrying out daily cleaning tasks including hoovering, mopping, dusting, and sanitising all relevant areas
• Changing beds, replenishing linen, and ensuring rooms are fully prepared for guest arrival
• Cleaning and restocking toilets and ensuring all facilities are well maintained throughout the day
• Responding to spills, mess, and general cleaning requirements quickly and efficiently
• Supporting the wider team to keep all areas of the business looking welcoming, safe, and well presented
• Reporting any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the management team
• Working in line with all health & safety, hygiene, and company standards, always bringing a positive, can-do attitude
