Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited is seeking a Housekeeper at our luxury care home in Kingston upon Thames. You will maintain high cleanliness standards in residents' homes and communal areas, assist with laundry, and support across housekeeping, food & beverage, and wellbeing teams. NVQ 1 desired and prior experience are advantageous.

Part-time day shifts available. We offer up to 30 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays, free meals on shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes and communal areas to high standards.
• Launder and manage linen for residents.
• Assist across Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.

Your role at Signature

Take pride in creating a beautiful environment for our residents, when you join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Housekeeper at our luxury care and nursing home in Kingston upon Thames.

What you will do

As our Housekeeper, you’ll be the sort of person who doesn’t go out without leaving a tidy bed. You’ll apply your high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness to our resident’s homes and communal living spaces, to ensure they’re spotlessly clean and beautifully presented.

You’ll also be working in laundry ensuring that the linen is kept clean for residents’ comfort and hygiene. You’ll also have your eye out for potential fire and accident risks, working with the housekeeping and maintenance team to reduce any risks to resident’s safety.

Our residents will notice and appreciate attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness builds confidence in our service delivery.

Internally, this role is called Hospitality Assistant, if you are successful this will be your job title. You will be required to work across a range of departments including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle. Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.
