We are looking for an outstanding Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others.

You’ll be working 18 hours a week (Monday 8am to 12pm, Tuesday to Friday 8am to 11:30am) at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Cygnet Hospital Harrogate is a long-established mental health hospital that provides an emergency admissions service across two acute wards.

Sanctuary Ward is Cygnet Hospital Harrogate’s emergency acute inpatient service for women. The ward can accept service users on an informal basis and also those detained under the Mental Health Act. Haven Ward is Cygnet Hospital Harrogate’s 19 bed acute mental health service for men. The ward can treat service users on an informal basis and also those detained under the Mental Health Act.

The hospital is located in very pleasant surroundings, in this picturesque North Yorkshire spa town which is easily accessed by road and rail.

Your day-to-day…

• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
• Maintain & replenish stock and ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
• Employ safe working practices & adhere to health & safety procedures
• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
